Battle between life and death

19 August 2008 8:40pm

Life is precious.

I do not want to die so fast.

But don't worry, I'm getting out from this HELL place soon. Just need to be a bit more patient. Another two nights and I'm free.

I fell asleep while driving home this morning. I was like driving 100km/hr that time. I was so tired that my MISS GOLD crossed over to the next lane... luckily God woke me up. Phew! I saw a car driving like 130km/hr behind me. I quickly pull my car back to my own lane.

Then I fell asleep again. God woke me up. I saw a lorry in front of me. The lorry is driving in my direction! OMG. I quickly pull back my car again. I could have crashed my MISS GOLD and end myself in the hospital unconcious. Perhaps coffin.

Melaka A Famosa (belated post)

My company organized a free trip to Melaka A Famosa for all of employees in February.

There were two options for us to choose from: Water Park & Animal Safari

I chose Water Park. I had a great time, really. When I said I had a great time, meaning to say I play like a Siaw Cha Boh lor. Until I forgot that I was leading a crowd of operators there ;D

Here's some photos to share:

Guess where am I?

From left to right: Daisy, Frista, Fatimah, Boyfy, Me

Huh? Prisoners runaway eh?

Singpore National Day

Singaporeans celebrate their National Day on the 9th August.

I never got the chance to go Sg on that day. So end up watching the ceremony sulkily at home.

I took some photos from my television. But resolution very poor.

Photobucket
"People Mountain People Sea". Wonder what would happen if I throw a red bull into the crowd.

Their police showing off their kiasu-ness

Here comes the funny one:

Photobucket
How come play trumpet pulak?

Photobucket
This police almost drop his gun lah

Photobucket
Walau... So "niang"!

Photobucket
Haha. They always tell people not to play with fireworks, but...

Photobucket
Walau eh... Can chase Mat Selamat by driving like this meh?

Photobucket
Ballad background

I think they are either Mat Rempit's sons, or......

...... monkey's children!

Lastly, they arrange themself to form into a design.

Photobucket

It's an indian lamp!!!

Know why they are using indian lamps, instead of ketupat and lantern?

Photobucket

Because their PM is an Indian! Hahha!

Ok la... That's all for today's joke. Lame right?

Saw the handsome guy beside their PM? That guy only about 40 yrs old, but already become a commando!

Rubber band-ed animal?

I find this cat very funny when I first saw him at a Satay Stall @Gelang Patah here.

Know why?

See the ears...!!

Did someone use rubber band to tie both his ears so that it looks like that forever?!!

Photobucket

Photobucket
"Hey, stop taking pictures of me!"

Kesian see his muram face. Haha...

Maybe he cacat or something la.

I said rubber band because last time my brother used to tie our neighbour dog's mouth with rubber band so that he wouldn't bite people.

I enjoy watching the dog jumping like crazy, rubbing here rubbing there to remove that rubber band.

I am a soooo saddist lar.

My Blink Blink

Blogging from hell now. Too glad that this week would be my last week working night shift. Ohhlalaaa...

I requested from my boss to release me 5 days earlier so that I could report for duty on the 8th Sep.

Count down to my last day would be: 14 days!!

Then I'll disappear myself from this place. Forever.

And the best part is I'm leaving for Taiwan this Thursday. I made a mistake. I'm not going to KaoShiung la... I'm going to Taipei - the capital of Taiwan!!! I've already exchange some Taiwan Yen. The worry part is I couldn't control myself in Taiwan only. Pretty clothes, accessaries, belts, hair pins, necklaces, shoes, boots...

Took few pics of my blink blink accessaries few months ago.

Blink Blink Tiara

Bought this plastic cheapy tiara at SG$2 @Bugis Junction two years ago. I bought this tiara because I had rebonding hair during that time and thinking of fixing a tiara on my hair so that I look like a princess. Perasan betul. Anyway, I never wore it before >_<

Blink Blink Butterfly Clip

This is my butterfly charm. I called it charm because I believe it brings me lucks. Me so superticious eh...? I don't wear this clip to everywhere I go. I only wear it to places I feel important, such as dinner, and especially interviews!! I feel secure with that yellow butterfly sticking my head.
I bought this butterfly clip at Travillion, Kuching. I bought it around RM6-7 only in year 2006 (if I'm not mistaken).
I *heart* this butterfly charm very muchhh...

Blink Blink Flower Pin

Paise ah... This photo cannot see the pin properly. I bought this at Jusco Tebrau in early year 2007. Very expensive wo. Cost me RM20++

Ribbon Pin

Used to wear this pin during my training in Batam. I quit using this pin after I straighten my fringe. I bought it @Bugis Junction at SG$1 each. I bought two ribbon pins during that time. Another one is using monogram fabric with LV logo.

Ok. Till here then. This is not the end of my blink blink stuffs. Will post up more soon after I've upload. Dada~

Car meter spoil?

There is one lady from my workplace, who couldn't pronounce words correctly.

Everytime she talks to me, I need to "ha?" few times before I understand what she is trying to convey.

She pronouces:

"Chan" as "Chuen"
"Extraction" as "Extrapsion"
"Email" as "Emil"
"Test" as "Text"
"Maintenance" as "Mainance"

... etc.

Today, she told Boyfy that she needs caliper. After few minutes, Boyfy only can figure out she actually asking for Kanebo!!

Why not she says "catepillar"?

So that I can give her this!

She doesn't know how to differentiate between a scrap form and a Manual Shop Floor Form after working here for more than 6 months.

And she always talk to me as if she is very terror like that, yet she think "kosong".

You know what she told me last week?

She says she drives down from Ipoh to Johor with only 80 km/hr.

Feeling amazed, I asked her why doesn't she feel boring driving at that speed (I was trying to tell her she's driving wayyyy to slowww!!)

Her answer was:

"No lah... where got slow. I tell you, when you drive at 80 km/hr with lots of cars around you, you feel slow. But when you are driving for one/two hour at 80km/hr, your car will become faster. "

Hello? Sure or not?

The 80km/hr stated in her meter box is fake one is it? Don't tell me after driving 80km/hr for one hour your car can go 90-100 km every hour (with the meter showing 80km/hr)?

Your car meter spoil is it?

Maybe your car meter box not spoil, but your brain....

=_=!!!

Talk to her really "ki si lang" (Hokkien: angry till die)!

The story of baby camel and mama camel

Baby camel and mama camel story

I think most of you heard about this story already. I re-script this story to become my own cacat version.

Baby camel: Mama mama, may I ask you some questions?

Mama camel: Sure dear. What do you want to know?

Baby camel: I'm just wondering, why do we have humps hor? (music: my humps, my humps, my humps my humps my humps...)

Mama camel: Well, we are desert animals mah. We need those humps to store water. But sometimes how I wish we can store Heineken inside *drool*

Baby camel: Oh is it? But then how come our legs are so long and our feet are so round leh?

Mama camel: They are meant for us to walk in the desert , dear.

Baby camel: Hmmm... then why are our eyelashes so long? Sometimes I really feel like plucking them when I 'kua beh tiok'(cannot see) my surroundings.

Mama camel: Aduh! Stupid la you! Don't pluck them okay. Later on become blind camel. Desert so windy. They are used to protect our eyes from sand and wind one.

*Mama camel becomes more and more impatient already. Argghhh!*

Baby camel: Yakah? But then mama mama, if really our humps is to store water, long legs for walking though the desert and long eyelashes to protect my eyes from sand...

Baby camel: I still have one more question to ask mama.

Mama camel: Yalah... quick say la... I want to go pangsai.

Baby camel: What the hell are we doing in the zoo leh?!!

Mama camel: ... *diarhea*

The moral of this malfunction story of mine is:

Skills, knowledge, abilities and experience are only useful if you are at the right place!

So, where are you now?

-------

The assistant sup who is going to take over my job is terrible.

His ideology is weird.

His implementation is not practical.

The main problem is: He thinks too highly about his capability.

Hello...?? If not because of my resignation, do you think you can sit at my place?

Ahh... don't care la. They already can choose a lousy person to become a Team Leader (without my permission somemore). So choosing another 'handicap' to sit at my place is not a new issue anymore.

Now I understand one thing which my manager told me last time. This is the difference between how a graduate works and how a non-graduate works.

How does a non-graduate work?
Through trouble shooting and experience.

How does a graduate work?
Able to apply analytical skill and good forecasting.

Thank you Boss. This is the best thing I ever learn in this company.

*Sorry about the pun if anyone feels humilated. I just feel that they are choosing the wrong person to be my replacement, that's all. And of cuz, I won't be so angry if they do not use politics at work. I can sense something is going to go very wrong going after I'm gone. I think they are trying to build their own colony inside. Well, actually I shouldn't be making any comments. I should be sitting aside, enjoying the movie of a downturn.*

Fun at work

A lot of pix to upload nowadays. Because I keep on taking pix using my W960i!

But too bad, my AP set got some problem and I can only fix it through the shop I bought my handphone. In short, I need to bring back my phone to Kuching in order to get it fixed :(

I got some mangosteen from Canteen the other day. Yippie!

Photobucket
I love mangosteen

Something I've been wondering for a long time already. How come last time during my confirmation other people from other departments get increment and I don't? I only get my virgin increment after one year of service and it's less than 4%!!

Really fuckanami.

Photobucket

We had KFC party last Saturday. It's to celebrate the salary increment of three of my associates. Two of them are our team leaders. Their basic salary increase by 40%. WTF. Then the last one is our assistant supervisor. He got an increment by at least 10%. WTF!!!

Why are they getting salary increment less that one year of service? How come their increment is so much higher than mine? Please don't tell me that I'm not performing?? Hello?? Am I really not performing?

I was taking care of one process with a max of 20 operators in the early of 2007. I was transfer to another more critical process which consist of a max of 90 operators in the end of 2007. I took another 2 new process in April this year, which make me taking care of 3 processes with a max of 250 operators. Can someone pls tell me that I'm not performing? WTF!

Photobucket

All Process Leads ( I don't call myself as supervisor because my title given in my employment title is Process Lead), my boss (The Shift Lead), line leaders and area trainers were invited to the party. Though not very happy, I still enjoy the party :)

Photobucket
This is my boss aka the 'bad guy'. He botak his head saying he wants to look like a baby (he got a new baby last month). I think he looks like a gangster instead >_< Photobucket
I 'got' this mango juice from canteen yesterday evening. No one was attending the canteen during that time. I really didn't steal it. Hehehe.

I was elected to represent production to pledge during our Quality Day today.

While waiting for my turn to pledge during the reheasel, I took some candid pix xP

Photobucket
All walks of life, from ah pek to leng lui, from managers to operators.

Photobucket
Presentation slides

Photobucket
Operators giving their full effort in presenting their quality speeches

Photobucket
Lalala~~ We also have Quality Song... Nice song ;)

Photobucket
Haha... See the black suit woman standing in front? I hate her kao kao. She is one of the don't know what HR Regional people up there. Very very high pangkat one. She reports directly to Atlanta.

Do you know why I hate her? She is a liar. She promised me that I will become an engineer when I come to Johor. But I end up as a Process Lead. I went to look for her in her office after I got my offer letter during Orientation. As usual, that fox gave the same lame excuse like what she did to other people.

Apart from me, she also lied to my other colleagues. During the open interview in Kuching, she told a clerk and some technicians that they will be given accomodation in Hostel with transportation. SO they do not need to buy a car.

At first all of us were asked to stay at the company laoyah guest house. Then all of us were asked to leave. The excuse is, there are some other people want to stay at the guest house. With a salary of around RM1K, how do you expect a clerk or technician rent a decent place to stay and loan a decent car to drive?

What a cuning fox!
