Tomorrow is the day!

Here come Judgement Day!

Tomorrow is the day! Omg.. I'm so nervous and excited about it.

I'm flying to KL tomorrow to attend my 2nd interview with this company.  The air tickets are fully paid by the company.  I think I have big chance.  Hope everything went well lah~  Hope the interviewer (the GM) not that ngau, giving me all sort of funny funny questions to answer.  I really hope the interview will be carried out more or less like the one I had in Kuching.  I think most of all, they want to see how I look like, presentable or not kind of thing.

Karen & Daddy also ada Judgement Day tomorrow.  Hubby will be picking up Baby Karen tomorrow evening. Then battle (I hope not!) with her until I come back at 8pm.  I hope the two of them can be cooperative with each other tomorrow.  *dang!*

Something about Karen's babysitter again.  Actually we wanted to put Karen at babysitter place until 10pm tomorrow, I changed my mind yesterday. Babysitter sounds reluctant taking care of Karen at night when I go for traveling (overnight outstation). She kept on chi chi zha zha say this say that.  No point letting Karen overtime there since she not so willing to take care of her overnight.  Anyway, we still need to pay her overtime too.  We will pay her RM20 extra for overtime 5 hours there.  A very good price loh~!  But problem is when we pay her RM20, what will she think, too much or too little?

Sometimes hor, I try to open one eye, close one eye.  I don't want to quarrel with anyone because my baby is still under her care. Just bear with it lah.  As long as she's achieving 80% of my expectation, I am happy enough already.

The Porridge Dilemma

I don't know how many parents (or I should say mom only?) have this problem.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE PORRIDGE FOR MY BABY!!!

Well, I am in dilemma since few months ago. I've been figuring how to make baby porridge, how long I need to cook, what should I cook with the porridge (meat? fish? vege?), when I should cook the porridge, etc.

Now the question is, do I need a slow cooker?  Do I really need one to cook baby porridge?  Can I use my micro computer rice cooker instead?

How much rice I need to put in for my baby?  Do I need to cook soup for the porridge? Ahhh.. Really headache...

Baby Karen is nearly 6-month old now. I should be feeding her porridge soon.  But she can't even master to eat cereal properly yet.  I wonder I should start porridge that early.

Anyway, I've browse the internet and found some baby porridge making guide.  I'm still blur after reading it.

Some people tell me bring the ingredient to babysitter there and let the babysitter cook for the baby.  Well, I'm a bit reluctant.

Why?

1.  Babysitter very ngau chii, I scare she will bising bising if I ask her to cook for my baby. If she didn't bising in front of me, she will gossip something bad behind me with other parents.  (She always gossip other parents bad things for me to hear, duh!)

2.  If she cooks, is she cooking properly?  She has to take care another two boys, has to cook for she & her husband, need to feed my baby, feed the two boys, wash, clean....  So she got the time to cook or not?

3.  Hubby says why not cook our own because we can practice good hygiene.

I think I want to start cooking porridge (trial) this saturday. I can do it!!

Shit, what ingredient I should out in har???

Surprise Surprise Suprise!

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!!!

Guess what? I received a call just now. It's from Johor. I'm going for 2nd interview by their General Manager!

It will be a day trip after chinese new year. Air tickets paid by them, of course!

What is my feeling right now? Hmm... how to describe... I AM TOTALLY EXCITED ABOUT IT!

Four and a half years ago, I had almost the same feeling like what I experience right now.  But this time is a bit different.  I have a four years experience in my hand.  This new place is going to upgrade me to a Senior level which my current one can't.

To go into detail? Not now because I need to go home hang my wet bedsheet and pick up Baby Karen.

Happy happy today. Wanna have a pre-celebration later. Hehe.
