Sneak Peek
Today the HR called me. It's going to happen this coming Monday at 2pm , with the Director. So sked la...

The weather was so damn hot this afternoon.
Woke up at 2pm and couldn't continue sleep. End up playing LocoRoco for more than 1 hour like that. Then forced myself back to sleep. Stupid weather.
I had some weird funny dreams this afternoon lor... I dreamt that I went to my brother's place to stay for one day (Ahh... I think the interview gave me so much stress la). I'm not sure what place was that. All I remember is I took bus there with some luggages with me. My brother house turned out to be a semi-D instead of Condo. So weird. I entered the house myself (my brother was not with me and I have the house keys).
The furnitures inside the house are neither old or new. Looks like the house has been empty for few months as I can smell a kind of "old old" smell. I put down my luggage at the Dining area. The place was messy. Don't know who keep this house until so messy. I guess that person is as messy as me la... hehe. I found a pack of tar inside the store room. Nothing to do, I took that pack of tar outside. There were few big holes on the road, so I filled them with tar under the hot sun. Perasan betul~ Ya' know, JB roads are filled with big BIG holes... I still remember when I was filling up the holes, some cars had to stop in the middle of the road to wait for me.
After I had done that good O' charity (I must be out of my mind), I went back to the house. Once I opened the living room wood door, I saw a kid (not sure girl or boy) jumping around and gasped when he/she saw me. The kid ran to the mother and hid behind her. But the mother paid not attention to me as if she was expecting me. She ignored my appearance and continued to do her work. I think she was cooking food or something like that. Then the father came down from upstairs, greeted me and ate lunch with his wife and kid. Don't know from where they came in and suddenly got food served on the dining table. Somemore got "Loh Ack" (Stew Duck in Hokkien). They never asked me whether I wanted to eat or not. Huh, what attitude is that. Then out of the blue, I saw John standing in front of me. John? Why John?? Weird... He told me that guy is his brother. Whoa... When your brother become so eng dao (Handsome in Hokkien) wor? His face doesn't even look like a Foochow at all.
I felt very strange. When my brother knows John's brother, and living under one roof??? This is ridiculas! Crazy!

Still waiting for HR to confirm the time and date with me... Argghh... I can't wait to leave this company la...

Recently I really hate Night Shift. I can feel my skin is aging, my health is turning poorer and out of the blue, I have millions of dandruff hiding between my hairs. After working whole night, my body starts to ache when I see sunlight. It is a terrible experience. Those who never work night shift won't understand how I feel.
1st of May falls on Thursday. Definately if I were the Management, I will give my employees a break on Friday as it is not productive or not. Initially the plan was to have replacement holiday on Friday. Therefore I started to build castle in the air. I started planning my holiday either go back to Kuching or go to Macau/ HK. Who knows, the plan was not agreed by GM.
God damn his sons, daughters and grandchildren. Because you dont need the holiday on Friday, so you cancelled everything???
These people, sitting up there just know how to ask for output without trying to understand our situation down here. Do you think working on Friday is productive? They just don't know a single f*ck... I'm angry not because I couldn't go to Macau. I'm not entitle anyway as production is running. Just don't like the way they think using their ass.
So, I'm working this f*cking Friday and OT this saturday. Remains in night shift.
Boyfy and fatty are going back to Kuching on Wednesday night. I'll be celebrating Labour Day alone in Johor. My hair is very long and messy. I think I better go have a hair cut before I turn into Jane (Tarzan's gf).

Action speaks louder than words

Damn sien at work today. Feel so unmotivated. So sleepy the whole day...

After my 1st interview, I got some information that I am one of the selected candidates to go for the 2nd interview. So, I called them several times but they asked me to wait. They said they will call me. After waiting for more than 2 weeks, I thought of giving up.
"Maybe I failed the interview. They should have called me if they want me."
The hope is thin. So I tried to apply another few more jobs in Jobstreet. Just in two days, I got a called from another company (actually is a Head Hunter Group) asking me to send my personal particulars, resume and certs to them.
Two days ago, I got a called from the HR (the company I went back for interview). They told me I am selected to go for the 2nd interview. The interviewer would be their Director.
Huh?? What? Director??? OMG!
I can feel butterflies in my stomach the whole day. What is the interview would be like? Is the director going to ask a lot of funny questions? And the worst part is I need to go to Puchong to get the interview done. Where is Puchong? Is it far from KL? I have no idea at all.
I thought about this issue for the whole night. I need this job indeed.
My boss says he is going to expand my jobscope. Does expanding my area of control is what I want? To me, it doesn't make any difference. Expanding my area of control will just heavier my burden. That's all. FULL STOP.
In this company I went for interview, I will get to learn how to do forecasting, budgeting, lots of planning, control of subordinate, dealing with angry customers and facing big bosses. Besides, it is under Sime Darby subsidary group.
When the question "How far do you think you can go?" pop out of my mind last time, I couldn't think of anything. Throughout my whole life, it seems like I do not have any moto. When I was studying, I never thought I will go for engineering. When I was doing my diploma, I never thought I will obtain an engineering degree. When I finally graduated, I never thought I will get a job with a happy salary. Everything is not under my control.
Starting from 2008, I have a high ambition. I want to be a manager. In order to become a manager, I need to have experience.
To get the experience, I need to get myself into that company. Then get an MBA while working there.
Talking is easy. But action needs a lot of endless effort. How far can I go?

Tioman Island (1)

Went to Tioman Island few weeks ago. Really had some quality time there. Work is stress and boring. I miss those fishes, the beach, the sound of waves and the environment so much. Feel like going back to restore myself once again.
