I'm leaving for KL this Thursday night. As usual, shopping marathon before CNY ;D
But this time is different from the rest of the shopping marathon. Because, I'm not shopping alone..! Yippie! We (few jimuis) organized a rally shopping marathon on Sunday.
See who can grab the cheapest deal and who carry the most bags win the race ^_^
Sorry ar, I talk nonsense again.
But the rally shopping marathon is real one. I wear.
Boyfy and I are going to Genting on Day 2. David taiko kena denggi. So boh pien we have to find our own accommodation.
I've found Corona Inn. Has anyone stayed there before?
The price is reasonable, or i should say cheap gua... RM120 nett standard room without windows for one night, inclusive of breakfast.
But for RM120, what rooms they will give me? Is the interior deco very bad?!! Just like Agora Hotel??
Oh no, talking about Agora, really bad. Bad bad BAD.
I hate that place. I dont want to go back to that smelly, dirty, yucky place. When I got time I will share my reviews on Agora Hotel. That is one of the worst hotel I ever stayed.
(I said "one of the worst" is because there is another one as worst as Agora Hotel. It's Malaysia Hotel. Terrible as well.)
I've found some reviews on Corona Inn:
"To be fair the staff were friendly and helpful enough but the rooms and general appearence in corridoors, carpets, walls etc gave it a run down look. There were no non smoking rooms, the room I was given only had 1 wall socket and the air con was either 'on' or 'off'.
The shower had low pressure and the card which opened the door malfunctioned and had to be replaced. Breakfast was included but just the bare essentials provided, fried noodles, toast, pancake, boiled egg, fruit, sugary cereal, tea, coffee, sugary fruit drink etc. Not very good for dieters I'm afraid."
Still not so bad la... got breakfast provided. Agora charged us RM 160 per night and it's without breakie.
"Yes this place is a little tired but it is right in the heart of Bukit Bingtang, its a bit shabby but its clean and it is soooo cheap!! My only tip would be to make sure you have a room with a window as there were windowless rooms in the middle of every floor. If I visit K.L. again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here, its ideal for cheapskates like myself who travel for the experiences and not the hotel furnishings!!!"
This cheapskate customer says this place is cheap. Yea, I agree wth her/him.
From the two reviews, I think the place should be okay. Run down but clean. I just need a place to lie down and sleep. Then the next morning pack my things and go Genting.
Wish me luck. I will come back with the review of Corona Inn!
