Tomorrow is the day!

Here come Judgement Day!

Tomorrow is the day! Omg.. I'm so nervous and excited about it.

I'm flying to KL tomorrow to attend my 2nd interview with this company.  The air tickets are fully paid by the company.  I think I have big chance.  Hope everything went well lah~  Hope the interviewer (the GM) not that ngau, giving me all sort of funny funny questions to answer.  I really hope the interview will be carried out more or less like the one I had in Kuching.  I think most of all, they want to see how I look like, presentable or not kind of thing.

Karen & Daddy also ada Judgement Day tomorrow.  Hubby will be picking up Baby Karen tomorrow evening. Then battle (I hope not!) with her until I come back at 8pm.  I hope the two of them can be cooperative with each other tomorrow.  *dang!*

Something about Karen's babysitter again.  Actually we wanted to put Karen at babysitter place until 10pm tomorrow, I changed my mind yesterday. Babysitter sounds reluctant taking care of Karen at night when I go for traveling (overnight outstation). She kept on chi chi zha zha say this say that.  No point letting Karen overtime there since she not so willing to take care of her overnight.  Anyway, we still need to pay her overtime too.  We will pay her RM20 extra for overtime 5 hours there.  A very good price loh~!  But problem is when we pay her RM20, what will she think, too much or too little?

Sometimes hor, I try to open one eye, close one eye.  I don't want to quarrel with anyone because my baby is still under her care. Just bear with it lah.  As long as she's achieving 80% of my expectation, I am happy enough already.

The Porridge Dilemma

I don't know how many parents (or I should say mom only?) have this problem.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE PORRIDGE FOR MY BABY!!!

Well, I am in dilemma since few months ago. I've been figuring how to make baby porridge, how long I need to cook, what should I cook with the porridge (meat? fish? vege?), when I should cook the porridge, etc.

Now the question is, do I need a slow cooker?  Do I really need one to cook baby porridge?  Can I use my micro computer rice cooker instead?

How much rice I need to put in for my baby?  Do I need to cook soup for the porridge? Ahhh.. Really headache...

Baby Karen is nearly 6-month old now. I should be feeding her porridge soon.  But she can't even master to eat cereal properly yet.  I wonder I should start porridge that early.

Anyway, I've browse the internet and found some baby porridge making guide.  I'm still blur after reading it.

Some people tell me bring the ingredient to babysitter there and let the babysitter cook for the baby.  Well, I'm a bit reluctant.

Why?

1.  Babysitter very ngau chii, I scare she will bising bising if I ask her to cook for my baby. If she didn't bising in front of me, she will gossip something bad behind me with other parents.  (She always gossip other parents bad things for me to hear, duh!)

2.  If she cooks, is she cooking properly?  She has to take care another two boys, has to cook for she & her husband, need to feed my baby, feed the two boys, wash, clean....  So she got the time to cook or not?

3.  Hubby says why not cook our own because we can practice good hygiene.

I think I want to start cooking porridge (trial) this saturday. I can do it!!

Shit, what ingredient I should out in har???

Surprise Surprise Suprise!

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!!!

Guess what? I received a call just now. It's from Johor. I'm going for 2nd interview by their General Manager!

It will be a day trip after chinese new year. Air tickets paid by them, of course!

What is my feeling right now? Hmm... how to describe... I AM TOTALLY EXCITED ABOUT IT!

Four and a half years ago, I had almost the same feeling like what I experience right now.  But this time is a bit different.  I have a four years experience in my hand.  This new place is going to upgrade me to a Senior level which my current one can't.

To go into detail? Not now because I need to go home hang my wet bedsheet and pick up Baby Karen.

Happy happy today. Wanna have a pre-celebration later. Hehe.

Sick

Since last week, I have some giddiness when I lay down on my bed at night.  I thought maybe I have problem with blood sugar that cause me giddy. Then the symptom starts to attack early morning. There was one morning where I have to support my hand on the wall to avoid me from falling down.

I started to worry about my health then.

Two days ago, when I was doing Karen's laundry at home, suddenly I didn't feel well.  All the things I see were moving around. My head was spinning like mad.  I had to use my hands to hold against the wall & washing machine to support my body. I felt like vomitting.  I had cold sweat coming out from my face. I felt cold.

Something was not right. First thing came into my mind was Karen. I told myself that I must go to see doctor now because I still need to take care of Karen that night.  Hubby was out of town for company trip.  I must get well.

I rested for a while at the sofa. Then pulled up my strength to get into the car and started driving to clinic despite I still had some giddiness in me.

After the doctor diagnosed me, he said I had ear balancing problem.  He gave me some medicine and it will cure me.  Where I get this ear balancing problem is unsure.   I might got it during traveling by airplane / ship. Or there is a bacteria infection inside.

After I reached home, I ate my medicine and vomited everything out.  I retake my medicine again and went to sleep.  I felt better after waking up.

To end my curiosity, I did some research in the internet.  Brain giddiness can be also caused by brain tumour.  Hopefully I just had some ear infection and not a tumour in there. Touch wood and god bless me.

If YOU are reading this
If there's anything happen to me, please take good care of Karen for me.  I love her more than anything.  Please let her know she has a mother who loves her very much.

When luck starts to kick in

Something for me to blog about today.

My Johor friend Annie contacted me through Facebook yesterday. Her husband company is searching for someone to do sales covering the whole East Malaysia including Brunei and Labuan.  The product is contact lens.

I think I will like this job.  It is going to be home based. I can take care of Karen when nanny is away.  Second, the business already has their customer base already. I just need to collect payment, collect sales, and I think to increase the sales and solve problem for customer. The cons would like traveling.  I hope I can travel once a month.  Not too frequent as I need to take care of Karen. I will miss her badly.

Why I hate traveling with this company now?  Because I don't like being alone? Because I can't deal with the customer there?  Just don't know why. Maybe I don't like our so called service provider in Miri.

After discussing the pro and cons with hubby, he said he strongly support me to take up this job.

Hopefully everything goes well.  It's time to move on after 4 years here.  I want a new job, new environment, new colleagues. Start fresh again.

Story of a Noob

Once upon a time, there was a noob. She was born in September 2008 The so called "good" company took 2 months to train her. They expect her to fly like an eagle within the 2 months training.

She spent most of her time familiarizing the sales process and everyone was too busy to attain her.  The two months of training is kind of total crap to her. She came back with a bit of knowledge and started to explore in the deep, dark tropical jungle.

During the journey, she was insulted by some customers but she never give up. Many people look down on her by saying a lot of discouraging advice too. She told herself, "Despite I'm a lady, I know I can do it. I don't want to let people look down on me".

Today, she is considered successful because nowadays customer will come looking after her instead. This is because she has created some reputation for herself in the market. Of course she is not the top salesman in this company. But she has earn herself some credit by having some of her own customer network. From a lady point of view, i think she has done something proud.

This is the 3 1/2 year she's stay on loyally with this "good" company. But no one appreciates her. During her last Team Building, her superior poked a deep hole in her heart. It hurts her so much. The wound will not recover. Even if the wound recovers, it will never be the same again. It will leave a scar.

Her motivation drops. She curses and swears her superior and the "good" company. She is so disappointed with all of them. She can't do anything but wait. She believes there is something brighter on the other side.

She just have to wait and she will see it.
